I read in the media that booking details have been leaked, have you been hacked?

No, thankfully we have not been hacked!

What we do notice is that people who have booked with us are receiving emails and whatsapp messages with a payment request. These people have not booked with a specific hotel. What probably happened is that there was a leak/hack somewhere from probably software that many hotels use. 

We are deliberately keeping a guard up because we don't know what was leaked (what data, how much and from what dates). What we do know is that your data is safe with us. This applies both to your personal data, booking details and also payment details.

With regard to the latter we can be very clear, nowhere in ViaLuxury's systems are complete bank account or credit card details stored.
