Hotel Die Port van Cleve Amsterdam is a historic hotel that has been around for 150 years. It is known for its Dutch history, culture and classic style, combined with hospitality and personal service. Fully renovated, the rooms offer modern comfort in classic surroundings with a Dutch historical touch, including a reference to the Delft blue tile frieze in Bar Bodega 'De Blauwe Parade'. Each room has similar furnishings but is unique in its own way.

The hotel has one of the best locations in Amsterdam, located opposite the Palace on Dam Square and De Nieuwe Kerk. It is ideally located in the city centre, with many exceptional sights within walking distance. If you don't want to go to the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum this time, you can visit the Moco Museum on Museumplein, where you can admire works by Banksy and other contemporary artists. On the culinary front, you'll also find yourself in a great location in the city. Enjoy delicious chocolates at Puccini Bomboni, choose a nice beer at De Biertuin or visit the new hotspot gardenbistro Oriole, where you can enjoy Mediterranean dishes in a relaxed atmosphere.

From 11 November 2024 until mid-April 2025, renovation work will take place at the hotel. The work focuses on the rooms in the front three buildings of the property. To minimize any inconvenience, work will only be carried out between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
During the renovation, the main staircase, elevator, and all F&B outlets will remain fully operational and accessible to guests.
