Each day, you'll set off on a different cycling route, taking you through vast polders, historic fortified towns, nature reserves, and charming Zeeland villages.

Day 1 | Arrival
From 3:00 PM, you'll be warmly welcomed at Churchill Hotel Terneuzen. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink before checking in at your leisure. In the evening, savour a delightful 3-course dinner at Restaurant Taste while overlooking the Westerschelde.

Day 2 | Flying Dutchman Route (approx. 58.5 km)
After an extensive breakfast, set off on a cycling route steeped in history and maritime heritage. The Flying Dutchman Route is named after the legendary ghost ship, which is said to have originated in Terneuzen.

Cycle along peaceful dikes and expansive polders, enjoy sweeping views of the Westerschelde, and even cross into Belgium for part of the route. Along the way, the mussel village of Philippine is the perfect place to stop for lunch or a coffee.

Return to Terneuzen in the afternoon, where you can choose from one of the city's many inviting restaurants for dinner.

Day 3 | Saeftinghe Route (approx. 60.9 km)
Today you'll discover one of the Netherlands' most remarkable nature reserves. The route leads you past the Drowned Land of Saeftinghe, the largest brackish salt marsh in Europe. Here, fresh and salt water meet, creating a unique landscape of tidal marshes, creeks, and dikes.

A perfect route for those who love peace, nature, and endless panoramic views.

Upon your return, enjoy another carefully prepared 3-course dinner at Restaurant Taste.

Day 4 | Hulst Route (approx. 51.5 km)
Today's route is all about culture and history. Cycle through quiet country roads and picturesque Zeeland villages to Hulst, considered by many to be Zeeland's most beautiful fortified town. Wander along its centuries-old ramparts, browse charming shopping streets, and enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner on one of its welcoming terraces before cycling back to Terneuzen.

Day 5 | Sas van Gent & Philippine Route (approx. 39.9 km)
After breakfast, check out at your own pace. If you're not quite ready to head home, there's one final route waiting for you. This shorter ride showcases three distinct sides of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen: the Westerschelde estuary, the industrial heritage of Sas van Gent, and the Burgundian charm of Philippine, renowned for its excellent seafood and mussel restaurants. A relaxed and fitting finale to a varied cycling holiday.

Alternative Route | Panorama Coast Route (approx. 39 km)
Would you also like to discover the Zeeland coast? Then replace the route on day 2 or day 5 with the beautiful Panorama Coast Route. Bring your bicycles to Breskens, approximately 30 minutes' drive from the hotel, and start your ride from there. This varied route follows both the Westerschelde and the North Sea, taking you through dunes and unique nature reserves such as Het Zwin, the Verdronken Zwarte Polder, and Waterdunen. Along the way, you'll pass charming coastal towns including Breskens, Cadzand, and Retranchement, with plenty of inviting places to stop for lunch or a coffee.

Throughout your stay, everything is taken care of. Parking at the hotel is complimentary, your bicycle can be stored safely in the secure bike storage, and all cycling routes are provided for you. Simply hop on your bike and enjoy everything Zeeuws-Vlaanderen has to offer.

How can I cancel? +

I want to cancel a package
You can cancel your booking within the cancellation period, in which case you will receive a refund of the package amount and a voucher for the booking fee. You will find the cancellation deadline in the third step of the booking process. Via the 'cancel booking' button in the booking confirmation e-mail, you can cancel the booking yourself if you are still within the cancellation period.

Nearly all our packages can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the day of arrival. However, for some packages this is 48 or 72 hours before the day of arrival. The time of arrival does not matter for the cancellation period.

Can the package also be booked for more than one person? +

Great that you want to book multiple arrangements! That is certainly possible. An arrangement is for 2 people. In the second step of the booking process, you can add as many rooms to your booking as are available.

Each room you add is essentially an extra arrangement for two people.

How can I change the date of my booking? +

It is unfortunately not possible to change a booking (date). You must first cancel the existing booking via the 'cancel' button. You will find this button in the e-mail with the booking confirmation, which you received immediately after payment of your reservation. Can't find it? Check your junk mail and/or spam to be sure.

I want to stay longer +

If you want to book an extra night you can, provided that we also offer the corresponding package for 1 night, book consecutively to your other booking. The same applies if you want to book two additional nights. If we do not offer the package for one night on the site, you can do this through the hotel. You pay the normal hotel rate. So unfortunately not with our valid discount.

For Room only bookings it is advisable to check availability via the website. It is however necessary to make a new booking.

I want to customize the package +

It is not possible to adjust the package. However, there are a number of extras that can be booked during the booking process. The package cannot be changed in terms of duration and content. If you want to come with more than two people, you can add extra packages in the second step of the booking process.
