Bosbergtoren: Kilometers of views from a great height

The highest point in Friesland is the Bosberg near Appelscha; a 20-meter-high drifting dune. On top of this dune stands the Bosbergtoren, an impressive tower that is 33 meters high. Climb this observation tower and you will have a magnificent view over North-Netherlands and the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. On a clear day, you can even see Leeuwarden, Groningen, and Assen. You can access the Bosbergtoren via a spiral staircase or an elevator.
