During the trip, your luggage is transported daily to the next hotel, allowing you to cycle carefree. Day 1: Arrival at Hotel Wapen van Delden
Your journey begins at Hotel het Wapen van Delden, a welcoming hotel with a central location. Here you can park your car free of charge for the entire duration of your holiday. On the first evening, you will enjoy a 3-course dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. After a comfortable overnight stay and an extensive breakfast, you will set off by bike towards the next destination.

Day 2: Relaxed discovery in and around Delden
On the second day of your cycling holiday, you set the pace yourself. Start with an extensive breakfast. Relax in the heated indoor swimming pool or sauna, or take a walk to the historic centre of Delden, which is within walking distance. Stroll through charming streets, visit the Salt Museum or enjoy a drink on a terrace overlooking the church. Back at the hotel, unwind in the lounge or on the terrace with a drink. In the evening, the day ends with a delicious dinner in the restaurant. A relaxed day where comfort and charm come together.

Day 3: Delden to Raalte (65 km) – Overnight stay at Hotel De Zwaan
After a comfortable overnight stay and an extensive breakfast, you cycle towards Raalte. The route takes you through the varied landscapes of Overijssel. At the end of the day, you arrive at Hotel De Zwaan, a charming hotel where hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere come together. Here too, the day ends with a delicious 3-course dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: Discover landscapes in and around Raalte
After an extensive breakfast, enjoy the varied landscapes of the Sallandse Heuvelrug or visit one of the charming Hanseatic cities such as Zwolle, Deventer, Ommen or Hattem. After a day full of impressions, return to the hotel for a relaxing evening with dishes prepared using seasonal and local ingredients.

Day 5: Raalte to Markelo (64 km) – Overnight stay at Landhuishotel Herikerberg
After a delicious breakfast, the next cycling stage begins. You cycle along the IJssel and through green, peaceful landscapes towards Markelo. Landhuishotel Herikerberg is beautifully hidden in the greenery and offers a charming place to stay. In the evening, you will enjoy a well-prepared dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 6: A peaceful stay near the Sallandse Heuvelrug
At Landhuishotel Herikerberg you can enjoy peace and nature on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Walk or cycle directly from the hotel through the Twente countryside or visit charming towns such as Delden or Ootmarsum. Back at the hotel, relax on the terrace or in the restaurant, where you end the day with flavourful seasonal dishes.

Day 7: Markelo to Delden (46 km) – Departure
The final cycling day begins with an extensive breakfast. This route takes you through picturesque villages and beautiful natural areas back to Delden. While you cycle back at your own pace to the starting point to collect your car and return home, your luggage will be transported back to Hotel het Wapen van Delden. This concludes your varied and comfortable cycling holiday in a wonderful way.
