Geological Wonder!

The Brabantse Wal is located in the municipalities of Woensdrecht, Bergen op Zoom, Steenbergen, and part of Roosendaal. It is a striking ridge and a geological marvel: a steep edge with a height difference of over twenty meters and layers of soil dating back to the Ice Age. An abrupt transition from high sandy soil to low-lying polder clay. At the top, you have a stunning view extending into Zeeland. On the way down, you'll see trenches from the Second World War. And at the bottom, you'll enter a beautiful polder. You'll find peace and tranquility in the vast landscape. Spend hours walking, cycling, or birdwatching. Come and see for yourself and climb the Brabantse Wal!

Breda

Breda, contemporary yet over 750 years old. It buzzes amidst ancient monuments, water, and greenery. Whether it's the terraces at the Grote Markt, the new station area, or events. Take a city walk through the historic city center, or hop on a bike and explore the neighborhoods. Let yourself be surprised by the creativity in the Havenkwartier, for example. Admire the Blind Walls Gallery with its hundred murals. And discover another side of the city from the water. You can do this with a boat trip along the canals. But how fun is it to rent a SUP or waterbike for that purpose. The highly varied shopping offer makes Breda a shopper's paradise. Look beyond the main shopping streets and be amazed by the abundance of unique stores and specialty shops. Need to unwind from all the impressions? The Oudland

The Oudland consists of an attractive mosaic pattern of (deciduous) forests, wooded areas, and agricultural land. It is owned by Brabants Landschap. The variation between wet forests and drier grasslands is reflected in the flora and fauna. Due to the great diversity of landscapes, there are very valuable plant and animal species. In and around the Oudland, you'll find the walking route 'Bergh & Vaert'. A beautiful and varied walking route (6 km) that is definitely worth the walk.
