TextielMuseum

The TextielMuseum is a dynamic and creative museum in operation, located in a former textile factory in Tilburg. It is the only place in the world where design, art, fashion heritage, and textile innovation come together. The combination of inspiring exhibitions, educational programs, and the specialized TextielLab for creating and innovating textiles makes the museum unique in its kind. In the TextielLab, the beating heart of the TextielMuseum, you can watch over the shoulders of (inter)national artists and designers. Here, they explore the endless possibilities of textiles together with our experts. In 2017, the museum won the BankGiro Loterij Museumprijs in the category Fashion & Design. And our unique museum concept was awarded the international Best in Heritage Award in 2018.

Andreas Schotel Art Route

A true gem for hikers, nature enthusiasts, and art lovers alike; a circular walk of over 3 or 10 km along some of the artist's workplaces, inspired by his etchings and drawings. The route consists of a walk along several workplaces of the artist Andreas Schotel. Along the way, you'll encounter easels displaying his work. Additionally, there are artworks along the route inspired by his etchings and watercolors. The route starts and ends at Cafe Schuttershof. Here, you can visit daily from 10:30 onwards for information, drinks, and food. Please note, parts of the route traverse the property of Brabants Landschap and Landgoed de Utrecht. Several paths are centuries old and therefore not suitable for cycling.
