Day 1: Arrival at Hotel De Zwaan
Your cycling holiday begins at Hotel De Zwaan, centrally located in Raalte and known for its warm hospitality. You can park your car here free of charge throughout your entire holiday. After checking in, take some time to explore Raalte at your own pace before ending the day with a delicious 3-course dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

Day 2: Explore the Surroundings of Raalte – Hotel De Zwaan
A day of cycling around Raalte introduces you to a wonderful combination of nature, culture and relaxation. You will cycle through the characteristic Salland countryside, with expansive fields, tree-lined field boundaries and peaceful country roads. Along the way, you will pass small hamlets, farms and lush green stream valleys, perfect places to stop for a break or lunch. Routes towards the Sallandse Heuvelrug or nearby country estates and forests offer varied scenery and gently rolling terrain. At the end of the day, return to Raalte at a relaxed pace, taking with you wonderful memories of the rural landscapes and warm hospitality of Salland. In the evening, enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner at Hotel De Zwaan.

Day 3: Raalte to Markelo (55 km) – Hotel Herikerberg
After a delicious breakfast, set off for another day of cycling. Your route takes you along the River IJssel and through peaceful green landscapes towards Markelo. Beautifully nestled among greenery, Hotel Herikerberg provides a charming destination for the night. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4: Cycling Around Markelo – Hotel Herikerberg
After a generous breakfast at Hotel Herikerberg, set off on a beautiful cycling tour around Markelo. The route takes you through a varied landscape of forests, heathlands, rolling hills and peaceful country lanes passing farms and small hamlets. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to stop, take a break and enjoy the beautiful nature and relaxed atmosphere of Twente. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 5: Markelo to Raalte (45 km) – Departure
Your final cycling day begins with a delicious breakfast, after which you can leisurely cycle back to Raalte. The route takes you through picturesque villages and beautiful natural landscapes, providing a peaceful and scenic conclusion to your journey.
