The history of the Lunia monument dates back to 1861. It was then built as a villa with ééone floor. Mr. S.G. Manger Cats, judge in the canton of Oldeberkoop, lived there with his wife Riemke Lunia. The villa was given her name.
Located in this monumental building, near the center of Oldeberkoop in South East Friesland, you will find Hotel Restaurant Lunia. In this small-scale hotel you can enjoy delicious food in the à-la-carte restaurant and enjoy the sauna, steam bath and a privécinema. In the attractive house on the first floor is the à-la-carterestaurant. You can dine in the garden room, front room or Riemke Mulier room.
