Of course, we start with the nicest places on the island, and to that category belongs the tucked-away Kaap Hoorn - a beach club before the dunes - surprise! You can only get there on foot or by bike, which makes the place even more holiday than it already was holiday. At Strandpaviljoen Kaap Hoorn, it's simply relaxed. And insanely fun for the little stuff too! There are plenty of toys (although of course there is always something to do in the dunes too) and scavenger hunts and other fun activities are organised regularly. Pura Vida - Midsland

Pura Vida in Midsland and in West Terschelling is an absolute asset to the island as far as we are concerned. So fresh, so relaxed, so here-we'd rather stay the whole day. Sit down at Pura Vida for a good latte, but even better for lunch or dinner. Using organic and honest produce, they build colourful bowls and healthy burgers here. On nice days, conquer one of the benches on the terrace and if it's on the chilly side, it's also no punishment to bivouac inside.
