Because of the unique location of the estate, amidst forest, situated on one of the highest dunes in our country, vacationing here is pure enjoyment! The building materials were brought in by the steam tram Bello and then had to be carried upstairs by horse and cart. Many luxury materials were used, tile panels, marble, wood carvings and stained glass windows.

In addition to enjoying the architecture of the hotel, you can also enjoy all the opportunities for biking or hiking in the adjacent Noordhollands Duinreservaat. This is one of the largest nature reserves in our country. The bustling village center of Bergen is known for its many boutiques, cafés and restaurants. We would like to inform you that there is no elevator at the hotel. For rooms on higher floors, stairs must be used. Wednesday through Sunday the restaurant is open for lunch, you can possibly purchase lunch from the hotel.
