Trip to Den Bosch

A day in Den Bosch is not to be missed during a weekend in Sint-Michielsgestel. Den Bosch offers lovely shops, picturesque streets and cosy terraces. Walking along the Dommel River

From The Ruwenberg you can walk upstream along the Dommel and visit the hydroelectric power plant. The height difference in the Dommel River is compensated by means of three culverts. The total difference in height is 1.80m and about 250 billion liters of water falls through the power plant every year. The turbine that generates the green electricity is located in line with the second culvert and produces about 650,000 Kwh per year.
