The defense towers, converted into luxurious suites since 2008, invite you to an incomparable overnight stay. It's the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, surrounded by the serene beauty of the castle and its surroundings.
For a complete castle experience, a visit to Brasserie Brût in Zeddam is a must. Located just a short distance from the castle, this brasserie offers delightful dishes in a charming atmosphere, perfect for both an intimate dinner and a relaxed lunch after exploring the area.
But your stay at Castle Huis Bergh offers more than just accommodation and culinary delights. If you opt to stay in the Platte Toren Suite, located next to the Koetshuis, you'll access the bedroom and modern bathroom with a walk-in shower on the first floor via an outdoor staircase. An additional living space is available on the second floor. Outside, you can relax on the private terrace. Choosing the Ronde Toren Suite means staying in a detached tower. The bedroom and modern bathroom with a bathtub are located on the first floor, while the cozy living area with stunning views is on the second floor. Outside, you'll have access to a private terrace along the moat.
One of the hotel staff will deliver breakfast to your bed at the exact time you desire! If there are any allergies/preferences regarding breakfast, please feel free to inform us. The hotel is happy to accommodate your requests.

With a height of 93 meters, the Hettenheuvel is the highest point of the Bergherbos. From the high Hulzenberg, which is 85 meters high, you have a beautiful view of the town of 's-Heerenberg and the village of Stokkum. The Bergherbos has several marked hiking trails. In addition, the famous hiking trails: the Pieterpad, the Naoberpad and the Montferlandse Toppenroute also run through this border area!
