In the heart of Eindhoven's vibrant city centre, directly opposite De Heuvel shopping centre, you will find Hotel Eindhoven-Cocagne. For more than sixty years, this distinctive building on Vestdijk has been a familiar landmark in the heart of the City of Light. With its striking American-inspired architecture and rich history, the hotel offers a unique place to stay. A familiar address with a new name, where a fresh future will gradually take shape from 2027 onwards.

The hotel's history dates back to 1 June 1962, when it opened as Grand Hotel Cocagne, commissioned by Philips. At the time, the hotel was renowned for its exceptional luxury and modern architecture with American influences. The name Cocagne refers to the 'Land of Plenty', a place where comfort and enjoyment take centre stage. This philosophy is still reflected in the hotel's warm and welcoming atmosphere.

From 1 January 2027, the hotel will continue independently as Hotel Eindhoven-Cocagne. With the same familiar team, personal service and strong connection to the city, a new chapter begins. The name Cocagne will be preserved as a tribute to the hotel's rich history, which has been closely linked to Eindhoven since 1962.

The hotel will remain open throughout the phased renovation. Every effort will be made to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. However, you may experience some noise during the day, and certain facilities may be temporarily unavailable. Step by step, Hotel Eindhoven-Cocagne is being transformed into a refreshed hotel where you can continue to enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay in the future.
