Day 1: Arrival at Hotel Wapen van Delden
Your journey begins at Hotel het Wapen van Delden, a welcoming hotel with a central location. Here you can park your car free of charge for the entire duration of your holiday. On the first evening, you will enjoy a 3-course dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. After a comfortable overnight stay and an extensive breakfast, you will set off by bike towards the next destination.

Day 2: Relaxed discovery in and around Delden
On the second day of your cycling holiday, you set the pace yourself. Start with an extensive breakfast. Relax in the heated indoor swimming pool or sauna, or take a walk to the historic centre of Delden, which is within walking distance. Stroll through charming streets, visit the Salt Museum or enjoy a drink on a terrace overlooking the church. Back at the hotel, unwind in the lounge or on the terrace with a drink. In the evening, the day ends with a delicious dinner in the restaurant. A relaxed day where comfort and charm come together.

Day 3: Delden to Raalte (65 km) – Hotel De Zwaan
After a comfortable overnight stay and an extensive breakfast, you cycle towards Raalte. The route takes you through the varied landscapes of Overijssel. At the end of the day, you arrive at Hotel De Zwaan, a charming hotel where hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere come together. Here too, you end the day with a delicious 3-course dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: Cycling around Raalte – Hotel De Zwaan
A day of cycling around Raalte offers a varied mix of nature, culture and tranquillity. From the village, you cycle through the characteristic landscape of Salland, with open meadows, hedgerows and quiet country roads. Along the way you pass small hamlets, farms and green stream valleys, perfect for a short break or lunch stop. A route along the Sallandse Heuvelrug or towards the surrounding estates and forests provides beautiful views and gentle elevation changes. At the end of the day, you return to Raalte to conclude the cycling day with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel De Zwaan.

Day 5: Raalte to Delden (65 km) – Departure
After an extensive breakfast, the final cycling day begins as you make your way back to Delden at a relaxed pace. Along the route you pass charming villages and varied natural landscapes. This relaxed stage forms a beautiful conclusion to the journey and allows you to enjoy this comfortable and varied cycling holiday one last time.
